A prominent theme in his early work of the sixties is “The Table Talk” (Tischgespräch), which – in different contexts - can show the subjective attitude towards life based on dialogue. A variety of abstract, calligraphically designed works on paper as well as numerous large-scale, non-figurative panel paintings go back to this period.
